You must be frustrated when your new Ring bell is not connecting to the WI-FI. But don’t worry, if you’re having trouble joining your Ring network, you can try the steps mentioned below. These methods have been tested by our experts and would be helpful for you.
Reset Network Settings On Apple Device:
You can try resetting the network setting of your Apple device and then try connecting the ring network on your phone.
To do this:
- Go to Settings
- Open “General”
- At the end, you will see, “transfer or reset iPhone”
- Click “Reset” and then click “Reset network settings”
- When it’s done, try connected the network again
Reset Network Settings On Android Device:
You can try resetting the network setting of your Android device and then try connecting the ring network on your phone.
To reset, follow the steps below:
- Go to Settings
- Search “Reset”
- Click “Reset Network settings”
- Now try connecting again, it will work hopefully.
Note: Resetting your phone’s network setting will remove your passwords for all the of the internet connection you’ve connected so far.
Use A Different Device For Setup:
Another thing you can try is using a different device for setup. For example, if you’re trying to set up your Ring on your iPhone, try using an iPad or iPod touch instead. It will have more chances of being successful.
Charge up the Partially Charged Battery:
If you have a Ring product that uses a battery, such as the Ring Stick Up Cam, and it’s not holding a charge, it could be because the battery is partially charged.
To fix this, you’ll need to charge up the battery until it’s fully charged. Once the battery is fully charged, try joining your Ring network again.
